SME to Present Conference on New Product Development In Conjunction with The Design-2-Part Show

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Silicon Valley Chapter will present a one-day conference, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Engineers – Resources and Ideas for New Product Development,” on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. The seminar will run in conjunction with the Northern California Design-2-Part Show being held May 19 & 20, 2010, also at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The fifth annual technical conference presented by the SME along side the Design-2-Part Show will explore new resources, materials, and ideas that will help manufacturers and their teams develop, protect, and manufacture products in a competitive new world. Engineers and manufacturing managers who are working on developing the next big idea, searching for resources or materials to develop a new product, or those wanting to protect their new ideas will want to attend this information-packed day. The conference is composed of two tracks:

The Northern California Design-2-Part Show will provide design engineers, manufacturing engineers, manufacturing managers, and purchasing personnel the chance to meet face-to-face with local and national contract manufacturers to source custom parts, components, services, and design.
